چکیده

This study shows an application of the Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) Methodology in field medical engineering. research aims to demonstrate a systematic design approach development “Ocane”, innovative concept smart cane visually impaired patients which was thought answer end user’s needs, deploying easy transport, locate, and adjust element with ultrasonic sensors tactile feedback. DFSS is analytical methodology meant organize project workflow sequence specific steps. Other standardized procedures such as Quality Function Deployment (QFD) Stylistic Engineering (SDE) have been used support terms targeting customer requirements focusing on aesthetics ergonomics analysis, respectively. First, QFD process introduced applied gather final completing analysis benchmarking similar-thought products market. Afterwards, description case deployed. Thereafter, SDE procedure exposed by identifying “Ocane” development, moving towards completion inventive product creative careful attention clients’ requirements.
